Terms of Service

Effective date: 6 September 2026

These terms govern your use of MIA — the AI-assisted content-generation plugin for Unreal Engine 5, published by Pr3vail Game Co (“we”, “us”) — distributed through Epic Games’ Fab marketplace. By installing or using MIA you agree to these terms.

This page does not replace Fab’s own End User License Agreement, which governs the actual purchase and content-license grant for anything you get through Fab. Where the two conflict on the license grant itself, Fab’s EULA controls. This page covers what Fab’s EULA doesn’t: warranty, liability, your data, and refunds.

1. The license itself comes from Fab

MIA is sold and delivered through Fab. Your right to download, install, and use the plugin is governed by Fab’s marketplace terms and the license type shown on its product page. We don’t separately re-license the plugin outside of that grant, and we can’t grant you rights broader than what Fab’s terms allow.

2. Your content and your keys are yours

  • Your projects, prompts, chat history, generated assets, notes, and settings are yours. MIA stores them locally, on your machine, inside your own Unreal project or OS credential store. We claim no ownership over anything you create or generate using the plugin, and we don’t receive a copy of it. See our Privacy Policy for exactly where each thing is stored.
  • Your API keys are yours. Every key you enter (Claude, DeepSeek, Tripo3D, Meshy, Stability AI, or any other provider) stays on your machine in your OS’s secure credential store, is billed to your account with that provider, and is sent only to that provider when you use its feature. We never see, store, or have access to your keys.
  • Cloud AI providers are your relationship, not ours. When a cloud feature sends a request to a third-party AI service, that request is between you and that provider — subject to that provider’s own terms, pricing, and content policies. We are not a party to it and aren’t responsible for that provider’s output, availability, pricing changes, or how it uses data you send it.
  • Ownership and usage rights in anything an AI model generates (text, textures, meshes, animation, audio, video) are whatever the provider that generated it grants you under its own terms — we make no representation about the copyright status or originality of AI-generated output, and you’re responsible for confirming any such output is fit for how you intend to use it, including in a commercially released game.

3. No warranty

MIA is currently pre-release beta — every toolset inside it is individually flagged Beta or Experimental. It is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the plugin will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any generation request (local or cloud) will succeed or produce usable output. You use it at your own risk, and you’re responsible for keeping backups of your project before installing any plugin, this one included.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pr3vail Game Co will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or project work, arising from your use of or inability to use MIA — including any cost you incur from a third-party cloud AI provider through the plugin. Where liability can’t be excluded by law, our total liability for any claim relating to MIA is limited to the amount you actually paid for your MIA license.

Nothing in this section limits liability that can’t be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for fraud or, where applicable, statutory consumer-protection rights you can’t waive).

5. Refunds

MIA is sold through Fab, and Fab (Epic Games) processes the payment and handles refunds under Fab’s own refund policy — we don’t process your payment and can’t issue a refund directly ourselves. Refund requests should go to Fab/Epic support, through your Fab order history.

That said: if MIA is broken for you — a real bug, not just a rough Beta edge — tell us first, at github.com/pr3vail/MIA-Issues or the Pr3vail Discord. We’ll try to fix it, and if we can’t, we’ll support a refund request you make through Fab in good faith. The final decision on any refund rests with Fab under its own policy, not with us.

6. Support

MIA is a solo-developed product under active beta development. We provide support on a best-effort basis via the channels above — there’s no guaranteed response time or uptime commitment.

7. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll post the updated version here and update the effective date above. Continuing to use MIA after a change means you accept the updated terms.
