Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1 September 2026

This policy explains what information Pr3vail Game Co (“we”, “us”) collects, and what it does not, across this website (pr3vailco.com), the Pr3vail Game Co newsletter / mailing list, and the MIA product family — the MIA plugin for Unreal Engine 5, MIA Studio (desktop), and MIA Studio Lite (Android).

Short version: the apps are local-first and send us nothing about how you use them. The website and the mailing list collect only what’s described below.

1. The website (pr3vailco.com)

The site is a set of static pages hosted by Netlify. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics on it.

Our host, Netlify, automatically records standard server request logs (your IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, and a timestamp) to operate and protect the site. Those logs are handled under Netlify’s own privacy policy and are retained for a short period.

If we add analytics or any other data collection to the site in future, we will update this policy and the effective date above before doing so.

2. Newsletter / mailing list

If you choose to sign up for our mailing list, we collect the email address you provide (and a name, if you enter one). We use it only to send you product news, release announcements, and occasional updates about Pr3vail Game Co.

  • Sign-up is opt-in. Where double opt-in is used, you must confirm via a link we email you before you receive anything else.
  • Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can leave at any time, and we also honour unsubscribe requests sent to the contact address below.
  • The list is managed through a third-party email delivery provider, which stores the address on our behalf and processes it only to deliver our emails. The sender address is updates@pr3vailco.com.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your address with anyone else, and we do not use it for anything other than the mailing list.
  • When you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your address, we remove it from the active list. Delivery providers may retain a suppression record (the fact that an address opted out) so that we don’t email you again by mistake.

3. The MIA apps (plugin, MIA Studio, MIA Studio Lite)

Your content stays on your device

Your projects, notes, drawings, chat conversations, generated assets, settings, and the “what MIA remembers about you” fact list are stored locally — on your own computer or device, or in a folder or storage location that you choose. We do not receive them and have no access to them.

API keys and cloud AI providers

If you enter an API key for a cloud AI service (for example Anthropic / Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini, xAI Grok, DeepSeek, Moonshot / Kimi, Tripo3D, Meshy, Stability AI, or a custom endpoint you configure), that key is stored locally on your device — in your operating system’s secure credential store on desktop, or in the app’s private storage on Android — and is sent directly from your device to that provider.

When you use one of those providers through a MIA app, your prompts, attached files, and generated results go to that provider, and are handled under that provider’s privacy policy and terms — not ours. Choosing which providers to use, and whether to use any at all, is entirely up to you.

On-device AI models

The MIA apps can run small AI models (for chat and speech-to-text) entirely on your device using bundled open-source engines (llama.cpp, whisper.cpp). When you use these, nothing is sent anywhere — the processing happens locally.

Optional cloud sync

If you turn on cloud sync, your data is written to the storage location you configure (such as your own WebDAV server, NAS, or Dropbox) using your credentials. We are not a party to that sync and cannot see the data.

No analytics or usage tracking

The MIA apps do not send analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking to us. Some versions can check for software updates; doing so contacts the update host (such as GitHub or our release server) and, like any web request, reveals your IP address to that host. That check can be disabled.

4. Children

Our website, mailing list, and apps are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

5. Your rights

  • Mailing list: you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us, and you can ask us to confirm what we hold or to delete it.
  • App data: because it lives on your device or in storage you control, you can view, export, or delete it yourself at any time from within the app or your file system.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA (access, correction, deletion, portability, objection). We will honour valid requests. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under US state privacy laws.

Our legal basis for the mailing list is your consent; for website server logs it is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.

6. Data retention

  • Mailing-list addresses: kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion (minus any opt-out suppression record).
  • Website server logs: kept for a short period by our host, then rotated out.
  • App data: retained for as long as you keep it on your device or chosen storage.

7. International transfers

Our website host and email delivery provider may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here and change the effective date at the top. Significant changes affecting the mailing list will also be announced by email.
